Get Ya Head Right is a biannual short film competition targeted at primary and high school students with the objective of stimulating peer-to-peer conversations and raising awareness about mental health in a fun and creative way. Through this, the competition aims to increase awareness about ways young people can support peers experiencing poor mental health as well as better look after their own mental health to better prevent the onset of mental illness.

The last film competition was held in 2013 and themes included among others bullying, its impact on mental health and bystander intervention. You can view the winning entries from the 2013 competition here:
