Brett Lee

Former Police officer and undercover internet detective

As a former police officer and undercover internet detective, Brett Lee spent five years online pretending to be a young person to gather evidence against child predators. He frequented chat rooms and messaging programs, and was part of multiple online gaming communities. He spent thousands of hours assuming fictitious identities in social networking sites. Through his undercover work as a ‘teenager’, Brett arrested eighty-nine adults for their online activity. He subsequently founded training company INESS (Internet Education and Safety Services) and online training resource Internet Safe Education. The father of four now speaks to students, parents and teachers about safe and responsible internet use.
